As a gentle guide through life's mosaic, I navigate the shores where chapters close and the symphony of rebirth emerges.

How A Miscarriage Doula Helped Me Reframe My Pregnancy Loss
Reeling after a pregnancy loss, Olivia Jordan Cornelius turned to what some might consider an unlikely source of support. In an essay for British Vogue, she describes her healing encounter with a miscarriage doula – and why their services are increasingly in demand.
Katie Rose – End-of-Life and Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss Doula
A compassionate guide for life’s most tender crossings. Whether walking alongside someone at the end of life, or supporting a family through miscarriage or pregnancy loss, I offer presence, practical guidance, and emotional care. I work as a soul midwife in the thresholds of life and death also working with women wanting to consciously call in their soul baby.
These moments of the in between space and transformation can feel overwhelming, yet they also hold the potential for healing. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to process loss, explore emotions, and find clarity. Through mindfulness, ritual, and personalised support, together we create pathways toward resilience, understanding, and hope.
Every journey is unique. With care, compassion, and experience, I help individuals and families navigate life’s delicate thresholds.
I have found that although death is still perhaps the biggest taboo, more so than sex, it is in the facing of our mortality and our grief that we awaken a deeper clarity around how we wish to live, until we die. It is from this place, where we start our relationship with death, transformation happens. To face this is to face being human. Let's be human together.
I shall meet you in the liminal space and together we will navigate your next steps.
Being in the liminal space — where endings meet beginnings. Sometimes this means supporting a loved one at the end of life, tending to their practical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Sometimes it is holding space for miscarriage and loss, witnessing hearts as they break and heal. And sometimes it is simply sitting together in the quiet mystery of grief, or guiding you through a gentle meditation to explore, release, and find solace within the currents of your own emotions.

WHAT IS A PREGNANCY LOSS/ MISCARRIAGE DOULA/ DEATH DOULA?
Pregnancy loss/ Miscarriage Doula
I offer tender support for anyone navigating pregnancy loss, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or unsuccessful IVF. Every experience is unique, and my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, understanding, and non judgement.
Together, we create space for your process, your grief, your story, and your healing—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My aim is to provide tools, resources, and companionship as you find your way through loss and gently begin to shape a new way of being after this experience. Doing this work is very close to my heart as I have experienced multiple pregnancy losses and what brought me to my knees also brought me to this beautiful work. I also work with women looking to unblock and consciously call in their spirit child after loss. If this sounds like something that resonates please book in a discovery call.
End of life doula
An end-of-life doula offers support to both the dying person and their loved ones, much like a birth doula supports families at the beginning of life. This role is about recognising death as a natural and meaningful part of life’s journey.
The support can take many forms; practical guidance, emotional presence, or spiritual comfort, always tailored to the needs of the individual and their family. In this space, grief can be held with compassion, and the dying process can be met with care and dignity. I work with individuals going through the dying process either in person or online as well as supporting the family and caregivers involved.

Ways We Can Work Together

My in-person work focuses on supporting those who are actively dying, as well as people living with life-limiting illness. This may include advance planning, sitting in vigil, offering companionship, or simply being a calm and steady presence alongside someone and their loved ones.
An equally important part of this work is caring for family members and caregivers, tending to both emotional and practical needs. I consider it an honour to support those who are holding so much for others.

If you are caring for someone at the end of life and would value guidance, reassurance, or a calm and steady presence at the other end of the phone, I offer distance support. These sessions are designed to ease the sense of isolation and provide clarity as you navigate the complexities of end-of-life care. Here you can explore how to practically, emotionally and spiritually support someone you're caring for and explore your own feelings around the process you are witnessing. Please feel welcome to get in touch to discuss how I may support you.
These sessions are designed for zoom and cost £50 per hour. -
For those wishing to explore their relationship with death outside of an immediate end-of-life setting, I offer one-to-one sessions via Zoom. These are spacious, reflective conversations that allow us to gently engage with the truth that we all day and what that brings up for you. Fear of death can sit quietly in the background or surface with overwhelming intensity, yet it is rarely given the attention it deserves. In our work together, we will not treat mortality as something to resist or overcome, but as a teacher, one that can bring clarity, depth, perspective, and often joy and awe.
Sessions are one hour and cost £65. If finances feel like a barrier, please reach out and we can discuss this. -
Death is the one experience we all share, and yet we rarely allow ourselves to sit with it. This practice offers a safe and gentle space to do just that, to turn toward what we fear or avoid, and in doing so, to discover a deeper reverence for life.
This meditation invites you into a contemplative journey where mortality becomes not a shadow to flee from, but a teacher to walk beside.
Come as you are. Leave with a lighter heart, a clearer perspective, and a renewed sense of connection to the gift of living. This can be done in person or via zoom and takes an hour the cost is £65.
